BoxLok is a polymer disk that can go under the valve key on a water main gate valve. The disk helps keep the valve box centered over the valve when backfilling and over time if the ground shifts. It has two halves that click together. The white color also enhances visibility of the valve operating nut making it easier to see the condition of the valve operating nut The hole in the center is designed to fit around various manufacturer valve stems, so please look at the charts below before ordering to see which fits your valve brands and sizes.
We recommend all utilities keep some of these on hand for new construction and to do a better job in valve box replacements.

All Boxlok products are designed as a centering device. These units should only be used inside the valve box or another generally accepted unit to achieve operating nut access on the valve.
The Boxlok is not to be used in a situation where a vertical load is placed on the Boxlok. This will cause the unit to bind the operating nut.
